No RSVP is necessary and everyone is welcome. For a $10 minimum contribution—100% of which will be donated—enjoy complimentary appetizers while supporting the nation’s largest network of child development centers for children 0-5 years of age.
Easterseals educators use specialized approaches and instruction to prepare preschoolers for school or to support current students toward greater achievement. In Tampa, The Murray Child Development Center is an NAC-accredited center serving children ages 1-5 years. This small setting program assists families with preventive health care, serves as a liaison between physicians and schools, implements therapy and early intervention plans, and uses Teaching Strategies Gold for assessment and monitoring ongoing growth.
As a Gold Seal Provider, Murray Child Development Center teachers modify their classroom curriculum to ensure each child receives specialized instruction tailored to their unique needs. Their Child Development program includes: Low student/teacher ratios, autism-friendly classrooms, parent support, referrals to local resources, early intervention, support for medically fragile children, and a variety of other cognitive, physical, social and emotional development activities.

The Blooming Buddies Classroom specializes in development for children ages birth to five with moderate to severe disabilities needing more intensive care. This room maintains a 1:4 teacher/student ration and is monitored full-time by a Certified Nursing Assistant. The Tiny Tots Classroom builds skills and provides a safe environment for cultivating independence in children ages two through three. This program works on problem solving, concept formation, cooperation and self-help.
The Krusin’ Kids classroom uses child-initiated activities to balance play and discovery with teacher direction and instruction preparing children to enter Kindergarten. Early preschoolers are guided through the important transition from individual play to group play. Creative activities encourage self-expression through movement, painting and dramatic play.
